There is a Flexa store in Hawaii that still sells flexa items but if you are looking for remaining Flexa components and accessories you may want to check out Bergen Furniture at www.BergenFurniture.com or contact Kiddie World at: www.KiddieWorldOnline.com.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the appropriate age for bunk beds?
The upper bed on a bunk bed is recommended for children 6 years and older.

Do bunk beds require a box spring or foundation?
In most cases due to ASTM guidelines, you cannot use a box spring or foundation on bunk beds and loft beds. A lot of manufacturers make their bunk beds with only 3 or 4 slats so you do have to use an additional mattress support such as a "bunkie board" but you cannot use a thick box spring or foundation under the mattress. Most manufacturers now a days use a full slat roll so that you do not need to use a "bunkie board" at all. Just place the mattress on top of the slats and it is ready to use. The one thing to keep in mind is that you should have at least 5" of space between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rail. That is why you cannot use pillowtop or a high profile mattress on the top bunk or top loft bed.

Where can I go for more information about bunk bed safety and also recall information?
First, you may want to check out the website:
US Consumer Product Safety Commission
